BATTIPAV of Cotignola, a company that designs, manufactures and sells construction machinery and equipment all over the world, is looking for a full-time resource to strengthen its operational sales force in the international territory. The resource will join the Sales team, currently composed of a Sales director, two export area managers, an Italy sales manager and three back-office colleagues. The figure’s objective is to manage and develop the international market, both European and non-EU. The resource’s work experience and language skills will be evaluated for the allocation of geographical areas of reference.
Who are we looking for:
The ideal person is fluent in English and in a second language; he has at least 5 years of experience in the role of export area manager for metal-mechanical companies, active in B2B markets and is able to manage international commercial networks with distributors. He must be available to travel internationally for at least 50% of the annual working time.

What you will do.
After appropriate training and shadowing, you will be responsible for:
- Managing direct customer relations
- Management of business negotiations at customer sites
- Participation and shadowing at trade partner trade shows
- Accompanying and training the sales force of business partners on BATTIPAV products
- Defining discounts and commercial conditions
- Definition of commercial strategies by area
- Expansion of customer’s product portfolio
- Drafting price list and product positioning
- Catalog content definition
- Forecast creation and maintenance
- Monitoring competitive commercial presence and development in specific markets
- Analysis of potential opportunities in the market (unmet customer needs, competitor products)
- Monitoring of trends in each market
- Drafting of year-end Budget and Reporting
- Involvement in the creation of marketing strategies
- Managing relationships with the technical department for customer support.
